Kah Boom

I just exploded a glass dish full of rice.
Ok from the top. We were having salad for dinner and I needed to make some eggs for it so I put eggs in a pan filled it full of water and put it on the stove and turned the stove on. About ten minuets later Elise says uh Ami? I look and I had turned on the wrong element. the element that was on had a bowl full of rice on it. I pulled it of the element. it took some force because it had melted I then sat it down right off the element on the stove. At the point it it rested on the stove it exploded it looked like a boom going off minus the mushroom cloud luckily everyone in the kitchen wasn't hurt although my eye hurt so I went and rinsed it out. still hurts but no traces of injury.
